Diagnostics and quotes are free. Small jobs start from £20. For example, a power cord replacement is typically £35. Labour for other repairs is usually £35–55 depending on what’s needed. Parts (if required) are extra – but our prices are competitive.
The Real Manchester Vacs – Beware of Imposters
Over the years, various little enterprises have popped up claiming to repair Dysons in Manchester. They trade under names like “[Insert Town Here] Vacs”, “Vacuum World”, “Dyson bloke”or “Shop4Dysons”. Most shout about being “Dyson specialists” or “ex-Dyson engineers” (caveat emptor). Some are mobile (again, caveat emptor), others work from converted garages, scruffy lockups, or even shipping containers — often located in what we now politely call the gritty end of town.
Some have even copied our website colours, stolen text, lifted photos, and otherwise tried to pass themselves off as us. We’ve taken legal action against a couple of them in the past.
