Dyson Repairs in Reddish and Dane Bank
If you’re looking for Dyson vacuum repairs in Reddish or Dane Bank, or nearby Gorton and Abbey Hey, you’re not far from Manchester Vacs, the North’s leading independent Dyson specialist. Whether it’s a repair, spare parts, or just some friendly advice, we’re still your local go-to.
Yes, we are the same business that used to be in the Bull’s Head in Reddish – we are now >>here<<
You may remember when we moved from our Dyson repair shop in Gorton and opened in the Bull’s Head in Reddish back in February 2016. We had TV’s Gordon Burns do the opening, and Tameside Radio did an outside broadcast on the day. It was a great event, and we stayed in that building for six good years. Even the Manchester Evening News covered it.

One of the reasons we loved the Bull’s Head so much is because we’re local people. The Bull’s Head is an iconic building in Reddish that all of us locals have memories of. We’ll miss being in the Bull’s Head, but we simply ran out of space.
I lived in Reddish most of my life. I went to Reddish Vale School many years ago, and even as a child, my parents had a business in Reddish.

If you are old enough to remember that shop above looking like that, that was us too. That photo is from about 1978. It’s still a shop today on the corner of Asquith Street.
So, in line with the idea that the apple seldom falls too far from the tree, having been in Abbey Hey for years, then Reddish, we wanted to stay pretty close to Reddish and Gorton. Our move in 2022 has only taken us from SK5 to SK6, just a few minutes up the road to Bredbury. Still local, still easy to get to, and still serving the Dyson vacuum owners of Reddish and Dane Bank. We still get customers coming to us who have been with us since we were in Abbey Hey, Gorton, pre-2016.

Dyson Vacuum Repairs Near You
We repair all types of Dyson vacuum cleaners. That includes:
- Cordless Dysons like the V6, V7, V8, V10, V11 and V15
- Upright Dysons like the DC07, DC14 and Ball models
- Older Dysons that Dyson themselves no longer support
- Cylinder models such as the DC39, CY26 and Big Balls
We also repair Dyson Airwraps and Dyson Supersonic hairdryers, which have become common failures lately. Whether it’s a motor fault, a dead battery, a cracked cyclone, a filter warning that won’t reset, a dodgy trigger, or a broken power cord, we’ve seen it all and fixed it before.

What Does a Dyson Repair Cost in Reddish?
We always quote before we start. There’s a minimum charge of £20. Beyond that, it depends entirely on the machine and the work involved. If any parts are needed, we’ll let you know first.
We don’t do the usual upselling or pushy sales nonsense. If it’s not worth repairing, we’ll say so. If it’s a simple fix, we’ll tell you.
Just been into Manchester vacs with a small Dyson SV11 handheld with an issue. I was in and out within 5 minutes with a vacuum repaired.
Thanks so much, if only everything in life were as easy as dealing with yourselves.
Really pleased with your service and attention carried out with a smile.
What About Dane Bank?
Dane Bank might be tucked between Reddish and Denton, but we count it as part of our patch. We get plenty of customers from Dane Bank, especially since the old Qualtex trade counter in Denton closed down. A lot of local tradespeople and home repairers come to us now instead.
You’re only ten minutes from our counter in Bredbury, and there’s a free car park outside. No need to book in or call ahead — just bring your machine in.
Do You Sell Refurbished or New Machines?
Yes. If your Dyson isn’t an economical repair, we often have a few reconditioned machines available that have been fully rebuilt and tested by us. They’re cleaner, more reliable and better value than the ones you’ll find online.
We also stock new Sebo vacuum cleaners, which a lot of people choose nowadays instead of getting another Dyson. If you want something that’s properly made, lasts longer, and comes with spares readily available, a Sebo is worth a look. We have demo machines on the shop floor so you can try them before you buy.
We’ll also assemble your new machine free of charge, and if you’re buying in-store, we can usually offer you a better deal than Amazon, John Lewis, or any big box retailer. There are no hidden courier charges, no platform fees, and no flat-packed headaches.
For the Trade and DIY Repairers
If you’re in the Dyson or Sebo vacuum repair trade and used to use the Qualtex counter in Denton, come to us instead. We stock most of the same parts and we’re easier to deal with. We even supply our own lines of power cords and leads which offer great value and durability.
Whether you need a brush roll for a Ball Animal or a new charger for a V10, we probably have it in stock — and if we don’t, we’ll get it in fast.
Use a Reputable Local Business
When the BBC want vacuum expertise, they ask us. When ITV need a machine for Coronation Street, they come to us. When Gordon Burns wants his vacuum fixed, he still comes to us. We’re not just a shop — we’ve been doing this a long time, and we’re trusted by thousands of people across Greater Manchester.
No-Nonsense, Proper Dyson Service
We’ve been repairing Dysons for over 20 years. We’re not a faceless Amazon seller or someone working out of a lockup. We’re a proper family-run business with real premises, qualified staff, and a reputation we’ve earned over time.
No need to book in or call ahead. Opening times, map, directions, address, telephone number, email and everything else you need is on our >find us page<.
